DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK

Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand!
On arrival and after having cleared the custom, you will meet your Thai tour guide and be escorted to the hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure.


DAY 2: BANGKOK SIGHTSEEING
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok
Breakfast at the hotel, on this tour, you will spend two days to explore the highlights of Bangkok. Today, start from the colorful flower and vegetable market and then head to the dazzling Grand Palace. You could appreciate the beauty of its buildings, and the sacred Wat Phra Kaew inside the palace.
After lunch, ride a long-tail boat cruising along the canal. It will offer you a chance to see traditional Thai houses and true Thai life. The final stop is fantastic Wat Arun, a temple whose design is very different from the others in Bangkok. Get back to the hotel late in the afternoon.


DAY 3: AUTHENTIC BANGKOK

After breakfast, set out with a short transfer outside of Bangkok to visit The Train Market. There are enormous shrimp, bright red lobsters, tons of squid and big, big fish actually caught in Burmese waters. Then you will enter the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Sit down and take your pictures, try some mango and sticky rice or hot soup with fish balls. And then you will get back to Bangkok for a tour to Jim Thompson House before you are escorted back to your hotel for some leisure time on your own.


DAY 4: AYUTTHAYA ANCIENT TOWN - CHIANG MAI

After breakfast at the hotel, take a drive to the former capital city of Siam, Ayutthaya. The ancient city of Ayutthaya is known as the “Venice of the East” because it lies along with the Chao Phraya River. The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram, which you will visit on arrival.
After lunch, head to Wat Lokaya Sutha to visit the largest reclining Buddha image of Ayutthaya with 42 meters long. Then follow your guide to Wat Mahathat, an important temple housing meditation center, and the oldest Buddhist.
After that, take a drive back to Bangkok then onward to the airport for a short flight to Chiang Mai. Get picked up and check-in your hotel here for the night.


DAY 5: HIGHLIGHTS OF CHIANG MAI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai
Breakfast at the hotel and set out for an Orientation and Moat tour in Chiang Mai before stopping at Three King Monument to pay respect to the Chiang Mai Founder. After lunch, the tour will go one with a visit to a handicraft village along Sankampang Road. Here, you will witness the local artisans making famous products such as silverware, lacquerware, Thai silk... This evening, you will enjoy dinner with the Northern cuisine of Khan Toke Style with traditional performances.


DAY 6: KANTA ELEPHANT CAMP - H'MONG VILLAGE
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai
After breakfast, you will be escorted to Kanta Elephant Sanctuary where you will spend your time with the elephants. Join the mahouts to take care of these huge beasts: Learn their daily life, feed and bath them, as well as gain insights into their behavior and history.
After lunch in a local restaurant, visit Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden to see the most diverse natural plants that Thailand offers. Your guide then also takes you to the nearby Hmong Hill Tribe Village, a peaceful tribe village where you can take time to visit a museum, beautiful gardens, local houses, and souvenir shops.
After that, return to your hotel and be on your own in the evening.


DAY 7: CHIANG MAI - MANDALAY

Accommodation: Hotel in Mandalay
Get up early in the morning and find our guide is waiting at the hotel to take us to join in a Morning Alms Giving. You will have some cooked food or fruit prepared by our guide to offer to the monk for merit-making.
Afterward, return to our hotel for a proper breakfast. Thence, get out again to spend the morning visit Doi Suthep Temple and its compound. From here, you can have a panoramic view of the city from the temple’s terrace.
In the afternoon, driving to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Known as the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar, Mandalay is a realm of stupas, monks, and monasteries. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Relax for the remainder of the day.


DAY 8: MANDALAY HIGHLIGHTS
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Mandalay
This morning, you will start to see the highlights of Mandalay. Start off with a visit to the Mahamuni Image where you can to watch locals pray and place the gold paper on the statue of Buddha for the blessing. If you like, for a small donation you can also participate (only men are allowed to place the gold on the statue).
Then visit a gold paper factory to see how golden leaves are made, a staple in Burmese religious practices. On to visit the 19th-century Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist mythology. Next, see the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world's largest book of Buddhism.


DAY 9: MANDALAY - SAGAING - AMARAPURA
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Mandalay
This morning, you will leave the city for Sagaing Hill to learn about the schooling of monks, visit Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, Sunooponnyashin Pagoda and finally take in the panoramic view of Mandalay. The next stop of this day tour is Amarapura, which is famous for Mahagandayon Monastery and the best place to experience the daily lives of the monks in Mandalay. Enjoying your walk on U Bein Wooden Bridge, the 250-year-old which is the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Thence take a scenic boat trip to get a chance to behold the panorama of the picturesque bridge in the sunset. Back to the hotel for one more night.


DAY 10: MANDALAY - FLY TO BAGAN
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Bagan
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and get transferred to the airport to catch the morning flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, transfer from the airport to the hotel for check-in and rest. After that, embark on the afternoon tour to explore Bagan. See its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas were once owned by individual families during prosperous times. Visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Continue on to the Shwezigon Pagoda , the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold. Followed by a horse cart ride to the small village of Taung Phi for a view of a teak monastery. Continue by horse cart around temples and along winding roads to Shesandaw Pagoda where you will watch one of the best sunset places in Southeast Asia. Ride back to the hotel to end the day.


DAY 11: EXCURSION TO MOUNT POPA
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Bagan
Having an early breakfast then drive to Mount Popa, visit the great extinct volcano. Rising out of the shimmering heat, the solitary volcanic crag of Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar's most powerful "nats". Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jaggery. Drive back to Bagan. The remainder of the day is at leisure.


DAY 12: BAGAN - FLY TO HEHO - INLE LAKE
Meals: Breakfasts/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Inle Lake
Catch a flight to Heho in the morning and drive to the beautiful Inle Lake. This lake is the second largest lake in Myanmar, located 900 meters above sea level and is home to the Intha people, famous for their one leg rowing technique.
Upon arrival, board a motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images. This pagoda is also believed to be the holiest in Inle Lake. The next visit is Ngaphechaung Monastery, known as “jumping cat” pagoda. As you travel further toward Nam Pan village the cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar making houses will impress you with true traditional Intha life. Check-in a hotel in Inle for the night.


DAY 13: INLE LAKE - INDEIN - FLY TO YANGON

Accommodation: Hotel in Yangon
This morning, we will visit the unique “5-Day Market” held in different villages surrounding the lake. This is absolutely a magnificent place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and then experience the exotic market atmosphere. After lunch, the boat will take us to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It will certainly be relaxing to walk along the corridor and enjoy the giant columns which have been left nature for centuries. you will then drive to the airport for an afternoon flight to Yangon.


DAY 14: YANGON CITY TOUR
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Yangon
After breakfast, take the City Circle Train for a 02 ½ hour ride through rural areas, stopping at numerous stations watching cigarette sellers betelnut sellers, fortune tellers and so on…. then continue the sightseeing tour with the splendid National Museum, including the gem-studded royal regalia and the Lion Throne of King Mindon and King Thibaw, the last kings of the Myanmar Kingdom. In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.


DAY 15: DEPARTURE FROM YANGON

Today is your departure day! Take your time to enjoy the breakfast and you may have time to do some last shopping (if you wish). Check-out and getting ready for the airport transfer. Take your international flight home.
