DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK

Upon your arrival at Bangkok international airport, you are met by Asiana Travel local guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight at a hotel in Bangkok.
DAY 02: BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA (80km) - BANGKOK
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok
After breakfast, transfer to the historical park Ayutthaya - the former Thai capital city, located 80 km north of Bangkok. Ayutthaya was conquered and completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. Ayutthaya has a beautiful large historical park, has been included in UNESCO's World Heritage list. Majestic ruins are gladness place for photography. Visit the most famous temples: Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wihan Phra Mongkol Bophit, Wat Phra Mahathat, and Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Back to Bangkok for the second night.
DAY 03: BANGKOK - CHIANG MAI

Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai
Check-out of your hotel after breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Chiang Mai. Get picked upon arrival and transfer to the hotel for refreshment. After that, enjoy a quaint and picturesque Meo Hill Tribe Village set in an attractive hillside spot and see the Meo tribesmen dressed in their colorful traditional costumes. Followed by a transfer to visit Doi Suthep Temple which is one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai - Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, located on the hilltop with the Thai style structure and containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha. From here, you are able to enjoy seeing the panoramic view of the whole city. Getting back to the hotel to end the day.
DAY 04: CHIANG MAI - CHIANG RAI - GOLDEN TRIANGLE - CHIANG MAI

After breakfast at the hotel, you will kick off the morning with an early drive to Chiang Rai and on the way pay a visit to a hot spring and then continue to the ancient city, Chiang Saen. Your destination today is the "Golden Triangle" where the 03 country borders meet (Thailand, Laos, Myanmar). Spend a while to view the river and the scenery. After Lunch, transfer to Mae Sai, the Thailand and Myanmar border city. In the afternoon, visits to the Akha and Yao hill tribe villages on the way back to Chiang Mai. The evening is on your own discovery of the old quarter or just take it easy in the hotel.
DAY 05 : CHIANG MAI - ELEPHANT SAFARI - ELEPHANT RIDING

Breakfast at the hotel as usual, today tour is fairly interesting as you will go to visit an Elephants Camp in Chiang Mai. At the Camp, you will see the elephants at work in a jungle area, see how the elephants are trained for working with humans and the elephant shows. You also experience an exciting ride on the back of this huge beast along small trails. The day goes on with an Ox-Cart ride back to the camp. Lunch is served at the Camp.
In the afternoon, take more ride but it is on bamboo raft along Mae Taeng River. On your return to Chiang Mai, have a stop at Orchid Nursery.
DAY 06: CHIANGMAI - FLY TO BANGKOK

Take your time to have breakfast this morning and then get picked up and transfer to the airport to catch the PG216 flight (10h00 - 11h20) back to Bangkok. On arrival in Bangkok, spend the remainder of the day for a city tour. Start with The Grand Palace, which houses a number of attractions including Wat Phra Keow (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) (open till 15h00 only; modest dress code with no shorts or flip-flops), visit mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Check-in your Bangkok hotel again for the night.
DAY 07: BANGKOK - FLY TO SIEM REAP (CAMBODIA)

Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap
This morning, take your time to enjoy the breakfast in the hotel, then get picked up for the airport. Catch the PG905 flight (11h35 - 12h35) to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
On arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and greeted by your personal guide, escorted to the hotel downtown. Spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
DAY 08: ANGKOR WAT DISCOVERY

You will spend your whole day to visit the complex of the World's heritage. Kick off with Angkor Wat complex. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Next is to Bantay Srey temple, regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art.
Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, be amazed by Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery and victory gate of Angkor Thom. The Bayon Temple is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. And you also take the boat cruise (Kongkear Angkor) onto the Tonle Oum south gate of Angkor Thom leading to the west gate. Back to the hotel for an easy evening.
DAY 9: FURHTER DISCOVERY OF SIEM REAP

Start the day with a drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple (60Kms from Siem Reap). Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. Continue your way to the foot the mountain, where Preah Vihear temple locates. You then take a 04 wheel drive (pick-up truck) from the foot of the mountain to reach the Preah Vihear temple located at Svay Chrum Village. The main purpose of the temple is the mountain temple which is the symbol of sacred mountain “Meru” where is the abode of all the gods of Hindu. The temple was mainly dedicated to the supreme god “Shiva” (Rooney 2006). In the afternoon, return to Siem Reap, you journey down the mountain before continuing west to Anlong Veng, one of the last Khmer Rouge bases to fall to the government forces. We stop to visit a house of Ta Mok, the former military commander of the Khmer Rouge. We then continue south to Siem Reap, arrive at the hotel late in the afternoon.
DAY 10: SIEM REAP - FLY TO PHNOM PENH

This morning, check-out the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch the K6102 flight (11h30 - 12h15) to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia for much of the period since the collapse of the Khmer empire in the 13th century. Phnom Penh is an attractive city (despite the ravages of war and civil strife) which molds the stylistic influences of such disparate sources as Khmer, Chinese and colonial French. Arrival in Phnom Penh airport, transfer to hotel for check-in. Free at leisure for the remainder of the day.
DAY 11: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR

Spend the whole day for a historical tour of the capital city. The major sights include The Royal Palace (visitors are only allowed to visit the palace’s Silver Pagoda and its surrounding compound; The National Museum of Khmer Art & Archeology (also known by the French, “Musee des Beaux-Arts” or the “Musee Albert Sarraut”) is considered one of the finest museums of classical Cambodia art in the world; Wat Phnom Pagoda, your tour guide will tell you an interesting story of the Pagoda and explains where the name Phnom Penh derive from; Cambodian Culture museum and Killing Fields memorial - Tuol Sleng Museum; Central Market boosts the 05th largest dome in the world and comprises 04 halls offering a wide range of imported & local products.
DAY 12: DEPARTURE FROM PHNOM PENH

Today is your last day! You may have time for doing some last shopping in Phnom Penh, it is up to your departure time. Check-out and get picked up and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
