DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam!
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed and greeted by the Custom Asia Travel tour guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer. The remainder of the day is relaxing or be on your own discovery.
- Located on the banks of the Red River, Hanoi capital is one of the most ancient cities in the world. Here, visitors are able to find well-preserved colonial buildings, old Buddhist pagodas, and unique museums within the city. The best way to explore its Old Quarter is on foot. DAY 2: HANOI CITY & CYCLING WARM-UP

Your Vietnam adventure starts with a day in Hanoi Capital City.
In the morning, take a cycling tour from the Old Quarter to the Red River. After a few minutes through busy streets, you will get on Long Bien Bridge. It is interesting to merge yourself into the crowd crossing the Red River on their daily routines. You may want to make stops for taking photographs as this old bridge was designed by the French famous civil engineer " Gustave Eiffel" in 1898 for both normal traffic and train.
Lead your bikes off the bridge to an alluvial ground in the middle of the Red River. This big island owns fertile soil, the home to many plantations and vegetable farms. Ride your bikes along little paths that wind through green gardens. Arrive at a small cottage where you will enjoy a hosted meal. Here the host will treat you a local lunch.
In the afternoon, ride back to the start, put back your bikes and picked up by your private vehicle to spend the afternoon visit some featured sites of the city such as the Temple of Literature, Vietam's Women Museum. End the day with a traditional water puppet show.


DAY 3: HANOI - BAC NINH (IN RED RIVER DELTA)
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Homestay at a local house
Depart from Hanoi at 8:00 a.m. Start the day with around 1-hour transfer by support vehicle out of the city to Phat Tich pagoda in the nearby Bac Ninh province. Pay a short visit to this Old Pagoda before embark on your Red River Delta bike. This morning bike is along the Duong River Dyke which offers you views of fertile riverside farms and daily life of village's rustics. Arrive at your home-stay around noon for lunch.
The afternoon ride leads you to Phu Lang Pottery village by another river side. Visit some interesting workshops and learn about the local ceramic making techniques. Cruise back to the home-stay for dinner and stay overnight.


DAY 4: BAC NINH - BAC SON VALLEY

Accommodation: Homestay at a local house
After the breakfast, bid farewell to the host family and transfer to Lang Son Province by the support vehicle. After a couple of hour, you will start your mountain ride in between sheer cliffs of limestone and view of stilt house villages of Tay ethnic minority. This scenic ride takes about 50 KM to Bac Son Valley.
Lunch is prepared at a local food store on the way.
Arrive at Quynh Son village, Bac Son, check into another homestay for dinner and stay overnight.


DAY 5: EXPLORE BAC SON VALLEY
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Homestay at a local house
This morning, you will start the day with a visit to a traditional Yin-and-Yang roof tile making workshop. You are able to see both production process and the burning kilns. From here, you'll continue on your ride through a peaceful valley of rice fields and view more villages of stilt houses. There are a few steep slopes along the way but it is not something very hard. Arrive at a waterfall where you have a short rest before transfer to nearby town for lunch at a local restaurant.
Discover another valley in the afternoon before hiking up to a summit for an amazing panorama over the valley of Bac Son.
After taking photographs of the sunset, get back to the village for the second night at the homestay.


DAY 6: BAC SON VALLEY - HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
Say goodbye to the family after breakfast, bike through the rice field to Bac Son Town's market. move a round the market to see the local trading and continue on your morning ride in between the limestone mountains, through peaceful villages and farms.
This morning, you will ride 45KM before the lunch. After the lunch break, settle down in your support vehicle and drive back to Hanoi.
Arrive at your hotel and end the adventure.


DAY 7: HANOI - CAT BA ISLAND - LAN HA BAY
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Overnight on a private boat
Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a "must-see" place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk. Take the morning transfer to Cat Ba Island.
Around noon - Board your private boat and start the cruising itinerary with lunch and dinner aboard. Some interesting activities are available to include kayaking, swimming, sunbathing on the sun deck. Overnight at an en-suite cabin on the boat.


DAY 8: LAN HA BAY - CAT BA ISLAND - HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
Get up early this morning for the sunrise and fresh air on the top deck if you want. Otherwise, you can remain in the cabin until breakfast time.
After breakfast, the captain starts the engine again and take to you Viet Hai dock where you will get a bicycle for a scenic ride toward Cat Ba National park. The destination is Viet Hai village, located right in the national park area. Take a quick look at the village when you are riding through. Keep riding on the same road back the boat. Refresh and get ready to check out of your cabin.
An early lunch is served on the boat today as you will finish the boat trip at 11:45 a.m. The afternoon transfer takes you back to Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel and you may want to do some last shopping this evening.


DAY 9: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Not available
Today is your last day. It depends on your departure flight time, you may have to rush in the morning or just free at leisure or do some last shopping until get transferred to the airport for your flight home.
