DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

Transfer to the city for hotel check-in
The remainder of your first day is free to relax and adjust yourself from jetlag.
- Once dearly called Diamond of the Far-east with the luxury level overriding that of Hongkong or Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City is now the most populated city in Vietnam. Modern office skyscrapers, amidst Oriental style pagodas and food stalls along the street, create a dynamic urban area in a very special sense.


DAY 2: CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS

After the first night relaxing, today you will be ready for your Vietnam Tour with a full day to visit the featured sites of Saigon and the famous underground tunnel network in Cu Chi.
In the morning, 8:00 a.m. Start with a 1.5hour drive to Cu Chi tunnels. Get an overview of Cu Chi by watching a documentary. Your guide walks you around to witness the traps, bunkers, trenches, and experience crawling a piece of the underground tunnels.
Drive back to the city for a set menu lunch at a restaurant
In the afternoon, Continue on visiting the War Remnants Museum; The former Presidential Palace; The Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Old Post Office


DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA & FLY TO HOI AN
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An
You will have a full day to visit the lush Mekong Delta today. After 2.5-hour transfer by car, you will arrive at Phong Nam, Ben Tre. Get on your private motorized boat and will cruise along the Chet Say river (a branch of the Mekong). Have stops at various local workplaces such as coconut candy, brick-making workshop, straw mat... You also have time to ride a motor cart that takes you through green lush fruit gardens. Lunch today is served at a peaceful garden restaurant.
Ride a sampan boat along a narrow canal edged by rows of water coconut trees before getting back on your motorized boat for the dock.
The afternoon drive takes you to the airport for an-hour-evening flight to Danang City for Hoi An. Get picked up at Danang airport and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. Check-in and stay for the night.


DAY 4: HOI AN HALF-DAY CITY TOUR

- Hoi An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colorful French colonial buildings. This is also known as the silk paradise with a lot of tailor-made shops for clothes and shoes. The town is about 7 km from Cua Dai Beach.
In the morning: Embark on a walking tour to visit feature sites of Hoi An Old Quarter: Hoi An wet market; Japanese Covered Bridge; Phuoc Kien, a Chinese Assembly; Tan Ky ancient house; Watch the art of handicraft making at a Hoi An workshop.
In the afternoon: Just take it easy and relax at your hotel or do shopping in town while discovering the rest of Hoi An on your own.


DAY 5: BASKET BOAT RIDE & FLY TO HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
After breakfast at your hotel, you will head out the water on traditional bucket boats to experience the everyday life of the Vietnamese fisherman. Explore local fishing communities before trying your hand at catching your own. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch afterward.
In the afternoon, you will transfer (Appro. 40 minutes) to Danang Airport for the short flight (VN168 at 15:50) to capital Hanoi. Get picked up and transferred to the downtown for the hotel check-in. The evening is yours.


DAY 6: HANOI CITY TOUR
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
This day tour to learn about the capital city of Vietnam occupies your whole day with featured sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university for the morning.
Your lunch today is served at a restaurant in town with local tastes. In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to one of the following museums (you can pick the one you like): the Ethnology Museum, Army Museum, National Fine Arts Museum, Hanoi Hilton prison or Vietnam Women Museum).
Followed by a short walk or a cyclo ride in the Old Quarter. End the day tour with a traditional Water Puppet show.


DAY 7: HANOI - HALONG BAY
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Overnight on boat
- Halong Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a "must-see" place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk.
In the morning: Breakfast at the hotel as usual. 09:00 - Take the morning drive to the Halong pier.
In the afternoon: 12:15 - Board your boat and start the cruising itinerary with lunch and dinner aboard. Some interesting activities are available to include kayaking, swimming, sunbathing on the sun deck. Overnight at an en-suite cabin on the boat.


DAY 8: HALONG BAY - HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
This morning get up early this morning for some fresh air on the open deck and join the Tai-chi class for some gentle moves if you wish. Otherwise, you are able to remain in your cabin until breakfast time.
After breakfast, the crew will pull up the anchor, start the engine again for more cruising to other parts of the bay. After visiting a big limestone cave, the boat is gently heading back to the pier.
The early lunch (Brunch) will be served aboard.
Around noon, you are ferried in and take the afternoon drive back to the capital city. Check-in the hotel again and stay for the last night.


DAY 9: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI
Meals: Breakfast
Today is the last day of your Vietnam trip.
It depends on your flight itinerary. You may have the whole morning to chill out or go to do some last shopping in the Old Quarter.
Get picked up at the appropriate time, then transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
