DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam!
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed and greeted by the Custom Asia Travel tour guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer. The remainder of the day is relaxing or be on your own discovery.
- Located on the banks of the Red River, Hanoi capital is one of the most ancient cities in the world. Here, visitors are able to find well-preserved colonial buildings, old Buddhist pagodas, and unique museums within the city. The best way to explore its Old Quarter is on foot. DAY 2: HANOI CITY & CYCLING WARM-UP

Your Vietnam adventure starts with a day in Hanoi Capital City.
In the morning, take a cycling tour from the Old Quarter to the Red River. After a few minutes through busy streets, you will get on Long Bien Bridge. It is interesting to merge yourself into the crowd crossing the Red River on their daily routines. You may want to make stops for taking photographs as this old bridge was designed by the French famous civil engineer " Gustave Eiffel" in 1969 for both normal traffic and train.
Lead your bikes off the bridge to an alluvial ground in the middle of the Red River. This big island owns fertile soil, the home to many plantations and vegetable farms. Ride your bikes along little paths that wind through green gardens. Arrive at a small cottage where you will enjoy a hosted meal. Here the host will treat you a local lunch.
In the afternoon, ride back to the start, put back your bikes and picked up by your private vehicle to spend the afternoon visit some featured sites of the city such as the Temple of Literature, Vietam's Women Museum. End the day with a traditional water puppet show.


DAY 3: HANOI - MUONG KHEN - MAI CHAU
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel or at homestay (Your choice)
Depart from Hanoi at 8:00 AM. Your private transfer vehicle takes you southwest to Hoa Binh Province, the gateway to the impressive mountainous area of northern Vietnam. After around 3 hour drive from Hanoi, you will arrive at Muong Khen, a little town of Hoa Binh where you will have a one-hour ride on a back road through farm-lands and villages. Lunch is served at a local restaurant at Muong Khen.
In the afternoon, get transferred by your support vehicle to the foot of Thung Khe Pass and hop back on your bikes to pedal along a scenic road, leading you along a side of Hoa Binh Reservoir. Have stops for taking photographs whenever you want. Get back on your support vehicle at Go Lao and head for Mai Chau Valley. Check in your accommodation and stay for the night.


DAY 4: MAI CHAU - BAN XO - MAI HICH

Accommodation: Homestay at a local house
After breakfast, spend the whole day bike through valleys of stilt house villages of the Thai ethnic minority.
Enjoy beautiful scenery along the country roads. At first, you will ride on some back roads of Mai Chau Valley and heading through Na Meo to Ban Xo.
Lunch is served at a local house in Ban Xo.
In the afternoon, get back on the saddle and winding to Mai Hich Valley. Arrive at your home-stay tonight at Mai Hich late in the afternoon.
Check in and rest for the remainder of the day.


DAY 5: MAI HICH VALLEY - PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel in Pu Luong
This morning you may be woken up early by domestic animals from the neighborhood such as roosters, ducks, pigs… that make the dawn noise.
Have breakfast at the home-stay before getting back on road.
The ride today is toward Pu Luong Nature Reserve area. Although the paved road is the backbone of the ride today, you are able to get off on back roads sometimes for some discoveries.
Lunch is served at Hang village.
The afternoon ride back on the main road and heading toward Ban Don valley where you will spend the night.
Check into your accommodation late in the afternoon. Rest for the remainder of the day.


DAY 6: PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE - NINH BINH
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel in Ninh Binh
Have the whole morning with a scenic ride winding through green land of Pu Luong viewing rice terraced fields, farms, gardens and villages... End the morning ride at a local restaurant.
Have your bikes lifted up and enjoy the lunch.
In the afternoon, you just leisurely travel to Ninh Binh by van. Up on arrival, check into your accommodation and spend the night.


DAY 7: NINH BINH - HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
Get to Tam Coc to embark on a sampan boat for a boat row on a small river this morning. You're taken through 3 tunnel-like caves. The scenery at this spot is breath-taking.
Getting off the boat at Thanh station where you take a short walk to visit a nice temple, located in the middle of a valley.
Keep on your morning by bike right from the temple to Hang Mua. On arrival, conquer the 500 steps to the summit of Ngoa Long Mt. The panorama from the top is amazing, it really worth it.
After lunch at Hang Mua Restaurant. Keep on pedaling on back roads that offers you scenic view of sheer limestone cliffs, villages and fields. The ride ends at the hidden lake of Tuyet Tinh Coc. Walk around the lake and climb some steps to visit a pagoda, enjoying the view before settling down in your support bus and make your way back to Hanoi. Check-in on arrival.


DAY 8: HANOI - CAT BA ISLAND - LAN HA BAY
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Overnight on boat
Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a "must-see" place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk. Take the morning transfer to Cat Ba Island.
Around noon - Board your private boat and start the cruising itinerary with lunch and dinner aboard. Some interesting activities are available to include kayaking, swimming, sunbathing on the sun deck. Overnight at an en-suite cabin on the boat.


DAY 9: LAN HA BAY - CAT BA ISLAND - HANOI
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
Get up early this morning for the sunrise and fresh air on the top deck if you want. Otherwise, you can remain in the cabin until breakfast time.
After breakfast, the captain starts the engine again and take to you Viet Hai dock where you will get a bicycle for a scenic ride toward Cat Ba National park. The destination is Viet Hai village, located right in the national park area. Take a quick look at the village when you are riding through. Keep riding on the same road back the boat. Refresh and get ready to check out of your cabin.
An early lunch is served on the boat today as you will finish the boat trip at 11:45 a.m. The afternoon transfer takes you back to Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel and you may want to do some last shopping this evening.


DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI
Meals: Breakfast
Today is your last day. It depends on your departure flight time, you may have to rush in the morning or just free at leisure or do some last shopping until get transferred to the airport for your flight home.
