Speaking of the attractive places in the North of Vietnam, we can not ignore Ninh Binh province. Ninh Binh is about 98 km away from Hanoi to the South which belongs to Red River Delta. With the pristine nature and charming scenery, Ninh Binh is a famous destination with a large number of visitors each day.
Referring to Ninh Binh, we must mention to Trang An Landscape Complex – UNESCO World Hesitate Site where includes Trang An, Hoa lu temple (Ancient capital of Vietnam), Bai Dinh pagoda and Tam Coc (Landing ha Long Bay); Mua Cave (Lying Dragon mountain) and Cuc Phuong national park.
You also can do many activities when you have a chance to come here such as boat trip along the river, biking around the rural village with the peaceful environment of the countryside of Vietnam; climb to the top of the mountain or even trekking in the forest…
What to do in Ninh Binh?
Trang An
Coming to Trang An, you can engage in the poetic scenery with a boat journey in 2 to 3 hours along the river through many caves and temples. Each boat is maximum for 4 people with 3 routes for your chosen.
Tam Coc
Tam Coc means “Three Caves” in Vietnamese: “Hang Ca”, “Hang Hai” and “Hang Ba” . You will like a boat trip along Ngo Dong river and visit 3 these caves. This journey will take around 2 hours only.

Hoa Lu temple
Hoa Lu is known as an ancient capital of Vietnam called Dai Co Viet in the 10th century. It includes two temples of Kings: King Dinh and King Le. You must visit it if you want to explore Vietnam history.
Bai Dinh pagoda
It is the Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist complex with 539ha squares. You can walk or use electric car to visit over 500 intricately carved statues of Buddha.

Mua cave
Climbing 500 steps to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain then enjoy the best view over Tamcoc river valley. Mua cave is worth for your visiting.
Cuc Phuong National park
Trekking in Cuc Phuong primary forest is available with many routes for your consideration. If you do not want to trek, you can try many other activities such as visiting the conservation centers, biking, bird-watching or discovering the wildlife at night to explore the natural.
