Cha Muc


Cha Muc is one of Ha Long’s most beloved dishes, made from fresh squid caught directly from the bay. Banh Gat Gu


Banh Gat Gu, literally translating to “nodding cake,” is a unique specialty of Ha Long that gets its name from the irresistible urge to nod in satisfaction with every bite. These soft, chewy rice rolls are similar to Banh Cuon but are served in a longer, thicker form. The rolls are typically dipped in a flavorful sauce made from fish sauce, garlic, chili, and sometimes a splash of vinegar, which enhances the taste of the rice flour.
