A Great way to see Vietnam
My adult son and I did a 12 day private tour from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, organised by the lovely Minh from Custom Asia Travel. Initially Minh asked us many questions about what we liked to do, were we prepared to cycle etc, and then she proposed an itinerary for us, and offered 3 levels of hotels to choose from. (We chose the middle level and thought they were all wonderful) As she told us many times we had great flexibility and could alter details as we were travelling privately. We flew into Hanoi, and visited Ninh Binh and Halong Bay from there. Then we flew to Danang, spending time in Hoi An and on the coast at Danang. We requested a three day seaside stay as a spot to relax.-the Furama Hotel was a fabulous suggestion and we organised an upgrade to an Ocean Front Room. We had 2 free days there- and enjoyed the opportunity to make our own way into Danang, and to Ba Na Hills, as well as swim at the beach and in the pools of the hotel. Finally, another internal flight took us to HCM for our last couple of days, and from there we visited the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong Delta. We were met at each airport for a private transfer to our hotel. Day tours were in a private car with a driver and a guide from the area. The guides were knowledgeable and often gave great recommendations for restaurants to visit in the evenings. If we had any questions we could text Minh and get an immediate response. All in all, it was a well thought out, perfectly paced tour for us, with no issues along the way. I would highly recommend Minh and her team for this sort of tour, as an alternative to packaged group tours. My only suggestion to prospective travellers- remember that May is one of the hottest months, often 39-40 degrees, so maybe choose another month, or be prepared for the heat.

What a lovely experience!
I had a wonderful time, with impeccable service from the tour guides, drivers and the arranged accommodations. It was a seven day trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. Overall, it was well balanced with plenty of sight seeing and activities, with great food and with plenty of down time for me to do my own exploration. They did Vietnam great justice! Will for sure recommend this program to all my friends and family. In fact, I haven’t stopped talking about my trip since then.

Hanoi-Ninh Bình-Sapa
We are from California and we only had nine days to explore Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Hue & Danang including transportation. I am an ambitious traveler who wants see picturesque places and experience the local foods. There’s no way that we could do it ourselves without the help of Custom Asia Travel. Molly was the nicest travel agent I have ever had. We started communicating three months before the trip. I just sent her our flight information and told her which hotels we wanted to stay and places we wanted to visits. Quickly she formulated a detailed tour itinerary customized to our taste. The tour included private car transportation, five star hotels, breakfast and lunch, English speaking tour guide, and airport pick-up/ drop-off. Surprisingly, the cost was not expensive at all. Our tour guide is Callum (Cương) who can communicate fluently in both Vietnamese and English. He went extra miles to make sure we really had a good time. Our flight from Hanoi to Hue was two hours delayed, Custom Asia Travel made an arrangement with the tour guide and the driver to give us a food tour in Hanoi without an extra cost! During the trip, Molly made herself available 24/7 by phone for customer support. We travel the world but this trip was one of the most memorable journeys! I wish Custom Asia Travel soon expands their service to everywhere in Vietnam and Asia. Their outstanding customer service certainly made our trip safe, smooth and unforgettable! I highly recommend this travel agency to everyone, anyone who want to travel to Vietnam.
