DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed and greeted by the Custom Asia Travel tour guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer. The remainder of the day is relaxing or be on your own discovery.
- Located on the banks of the Red River, Hanoi capital is one of the most ancient cities in the world. Here, visitors are able to find well-preserved colonial buildings, old Buddhist pagodas, and unique museums within the city. The best way to explore its Old Quarter is on foot. DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi

This day tour to learn about the capital city of Vietnam occupies your whole day with featured sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university for the morning.
Your lunch today is served at a restaurant in town with local tastes.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to one of the following museums (you can pick the one you like): the Ethnology Museum, Army Museum, National Fine Arts Museum, Hanoi Hilton prison or Vietnam Women Museum).
Followed by a short walk or a cyclo ride in the Old Quarter.
End the day tour with a traditional Water Puppet show.

DAY 3: HANOI - BAC HA

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Accommodation: Homestay in Bac Ha

Depart from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 am, the drive to Bac Ha by your private car takes approximately 5 hours.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way.
Upon arrival in Bac Ha, check-in the home-stay at a local house. Take a short rest for refreshment. Set out for a soft trek to Ban Pho village of the Flower H’mong people. The trek lasts for about 1,5 hours. Along the walk, Not only you are able to view the villagers' farming, the rural countryside with terraced fields, but also learn something about the local culture and daily life of this colorful hill tribe.
Get back to the home-stay and get ready for a hosted dinner and stay for the night.

DAY 4: BAC HA - SAPA

Included meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Sapa

In the morning: As usual, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Go to visit a hill tribe market in the area. Depends on your schedule, there are some markets available for you to pick: (Sunday: Bac Ha market; Tuesday: Coc Ly market; Saturday: Can Cau market).
At the market, you will see many different ethnic minority groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Yao, Tay, Nung…etc. The market offers a variety of local products includes colorful embroidery, handicrafts and all types of daily necessary kinds of stuff. Here also available animal markets where people sell and buy or barter animals such as dogs, pot-bellied pigs, cows, buffaloes and so on.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon: Take a 3-hour drive to Sapa town with a quick stop at the border gate between Vietnam and China to view China and taking photos if you wish. Check-in the hotel. The evening is yours.

DAY 5: SAPA- HANOI

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi

At 8:30 a.m. get picked and transfer to the trekking point to Y Linh Ho village at Muong Hoa Valley. Muong Hoa is the biggest valley in the Sapa region and bottomed by a rocky river.
Start with a downhill trek to the valley, the scenery of the rice terraces along your way is very beautiful and this will be the highlight of the day. Crossing the river on a small suspension bridge and continue the trek uphill on a concrete path. This is a bit challenging when it is wet but definitely offers you a spectacular view over the valley.
Finish your afternoon scenic trek at Lao Chai village where your private vehicle awaits you.
Get back in your car and drive to lunch. The afternoon is spent on the journey back to Hanoi. Check-in the same hotel in Hanoi. The evening is on your own discovery.

DAY 6: NINH BINH KARST LANDSCAPE

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel in Ninh Binh

Depart from Hanoi early this morning and drive overland to Ninh Binh province, a beautiful and rustic countryside.
Upon arrival, take a 2-hour sampan boat rowing at Tam Coc. This area is famous for its wonderful landscape of karst formations. The scenery along the gentle row is stunning and it is deserved to be the highlight activities of the day.
Back to the dock and move to a local restaurant for a Vietnamese lunch.
In the afternoon: Continue on the sightseeing to the surroundings by bicycles. Stop to visit a pagoda or temple on the ride.
About 4:00 p.m. transfer to the hotel for check-in. Refresh and relax until dinner time.

DAY 7: NINH BINH HINE & CERAMIC VILLAGE

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Accommodation: Homestay

Breakfast is served at the hotel as usual. Transfer by car to the Hang Mua area. where you'll embark on a hike up to Ngoa Long mountain. There are about 500 steps to go for the summit of this limestone mountain. (At the hot humid day, it is not recommended for the seniors or those with high blood pleasure). The panoramic view from the top is worth your hard work!
Get back down and continue on with a gentle walk on the ground of rice fields, villages, and ponds of lotus. This walk is very scenic through rural land. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive to Bac Ninh province, the drive takes about 3,5 hours. Phu Lang Glazed Terra-cotta village is your destination today. The visit absolutely amazes you while walking to visit some family-owned workshops. Learning the local techniques of producing different types of ceramics. Transfer to a home-stay, relax and enjoy the dinner with the family.

DAY 8: BAC NINH - HALONG BAY

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Accommodation: Overnight on boat

-  Halong Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a "must-see" place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk.
In the morning: Breakfast at the home-stay. Bid farewell to the host family afterward. 09:00 - Take the morning drive to the Halong pier.
In the afternoon:​ 12:15 - Board your boat and start the cruising itinerary with lunch and dinner aboard. Some interesting activities are available to include like kayaking, swimming, sunbathing on the sun deck. Overnight at an en-suite cabin on the boat.

DAY 9: HALONG BAY - HANOI & FLY TO DANANG

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An

This morning get up early this morning for some fresh air on the open deck and join the Tai-chi class for some gentle moves if you wish. Otherwise, you are able to remain in your cabin until breakfast time.
After breakfast, the crew will pull up the anchor, start the engine again for more cruising to other parts of the bay. After visiting a big limestone cave, the boat is gently heading back to the pier.
The early lunch (Brunch) will be served aboard.
Around noon, you are ferried in and take the afternoon drive to the airport for your evening flight to Da Nang airport.
On arrival, transfer to Hoi An to check-in a hotel for the night.

DAY 10: HALF DAY WALKING TOUR

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An

Hoi An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shop houses and temples to colorful French colonial buildings. This is also known as the silk paradise with a lot of tailor-made shops for cloths and shoes. The town is about 7 km from Cua Dai Beach. In the morning: Just take it easy and relax at your hotel or do shopping in town if you wish. In the afternoon: Embark on a walking tour to visit feature sites of Hoi An Old Quarter: Hoi An wet market; Japanese Covered Bridge; Phuoc Kien, a Chinese Assembly; Tan Ky ancient house; Watch the art of handicraft making at a Hoi An workshop.

DAY 11: HOI AN RURAL BIKE RIDE

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your cycling tour at 8:30 from the hotel. The destination is Cam Kim island. It is a beautiful rural area, with a lot of vegetation, little temples and nice rice fields. Along the ride, you will have chances to get some local interactions such as visiting local families and watch the traditional works of making noodles, home-made rice wine, weaving sleeping mats.
Enjoy a soft lunch with traditional noodle soup.
Ride back to the hotel in the early afternoon and relax for the rest of your day.

DAY 12: FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Get transferred to Danang airport to catch the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon. Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by another local guide for the rest of your trip. Transfer to the downtown for hotel check-in. The lunch today is at a restaurant in town
In the afternoon: Take a city tour with your tour guide. The city's featured sites to visit included: Notre Dame Cathedral; The colonial Post Office, renowned for its architecture; Reunification Palace; War Remnants Museum to learn more of Vietnam’s turbulent past. End your day with a stroll around Ben Thanh Market.

DAY 13: CU CHI TUNNELS & CAO DAI TEMPLE

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

 

Meet your tour guide at 8:00 a.m. Drive out of the bustling city for Cu Chi District Locates approximately 70 km northwest of Saigon. This is a beautiful green land with fruit gardens, rice paddies and plantations. Cu Chi Tunnels are like a spider web in the soil of Cu Chi District. It consists of more than 200 km of narrow underground tunnels that connecting half or total covered hideouts, shelters, fighting bunkers, hospital, school, living rooms and so on… All was built and used by Viet Cong for resistance against their enemy during the French and American war.
After touring Cu Chi, make your way for approximately 1hr to Tay Ninh, to the Cao Dai Temple. Upon arrival around noon, you will watch part of a Cao Dai service, with an explanation of this interesting religion.
In the afternoon, have lunch in a local restaurant before your drive back to Saigon (Approx. 3 hrs.).

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Can Tho City

- The ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam, Mekong Delta is carpeted in a dizzying variety of greens. It's a water world that moves to the rhythms of the mighty Mekong, where boats, houses, and markets float upon the innumerable rivers, canals, and streams that crisscross the landscape like arteries.
Depart for Mekong Delta at 8:00 a.m. The drive takes nearly 2.5 hours. Arrive at Ben Tre, embark on a motorized boat trip along the scenic Ben Tre River, viewing various local industries along the way. Have some stops to visit local workshops: making bricks by the kilns; Making coconut candy; Sleeping straw mats. Take a motor cart passing fruit and vegetable fields. Ride a short sampan boat on a small creek of water coconut trees. Lunch at a garden restaurant. In the afternoon, drive to Can Tho City which is considered as the capital of the Delta. Check-in your hotel. The evening is on your own discovery or just relaxing.

DAY 15: MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CITY

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Have you heard about A floating market in Mekong? The watery world of the Mekong Delta is home to many bustling floating markets. This day is when you can feast your eyes on many interesting things on the water at Cai Rang Floating Market.
In the morning, have breakfast at your hotel and check out. 08:00
Get to Ninh Kieu quay where you board a motorized boat to meandering through the market. Followed by a short ride to Ba Cong village to pay a visit to a family who specializes in making rice paper and noodles. Cruise back to the quay and make your way back to HCMC.
Lunch is at a restaurant on the way back.
Arrive at your hotel, the remainder of the day is for relaxation.

DAY 16: DEPARTURE FROM HO CHI MINH CITY

Meals: Breakfast

Today is your last day of the trip in Ho Chi Minh City.
You are free at leisure or go to do some last shopping before getting picked up and take the private transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
